Commissioner Wheeler and Chairperson McLane discussed <br /> the high cost per participant and the small number to be served. <br /> Commissioners discussed the proposal by Pacific Coast Repertory Theatre and Tri-Valley <br /> Repertory Theater to combine their grants requests. They discussed the cost of the equipment <br /> and how it would enhance the programs provided by these repertory companies. <br /> Commissioners also discussed the possibility that equipment could be bought by the City of <br /> Pleasanton for the Firehouse Arts Facility and made available for Pacific Coast Repertory <br /> Theatre. It was suggested that this recommendation be presented to City Council for <br /> consideration. <br /> Commissioners considered all of the funding requests and made their recommendations. <br /> Commissioner Nealy questioned whether the Commission should consider setting aside funds <br /> for possible future funding of the Arts in School program.
