Public Comment <br /> Olivia Sanwong stated that she was recently appointed to the Congressional District's Women's <br /> Advisory Committee and as such, has a direct link to Congressman Eric Swalwell. <br /> Vinny Poh said noise pollution, traffic and safety issues have increased as a direct result of expanded <br /> big rig traffic on State Route 84 over the past year. He stated that more than 200 homeowners along <br /> Pleasanton's portion have signed a petition asking for help in banning through tractor trailer traffic on <br /> the highway. He requested the Council's support in initiating a process towards implementing a traffic <br /> restriction ordinance for through big rigs before the road expands further and conditions worsen. <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br /> 13.
