MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> March 19, 2013 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Brown lead <br /> the Pledge of Allegiance and provided introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: Councilmember Pentin, One Vacancy <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Lowell reported that the Council met in Closed Session for conference concerning <br /> negotiations with Pleasanton City Employees Association and no reportable action was taken. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Councilmember Brown requested the following correction to the Minutes of March 5, 2013: <br /> • Page 3, last paragraph: "...opinion that cities could not regular regulate..." <br /> Councilmember Brown asked to pull Item 11 for discussion. <br /> Vice-Mayor Cook-Kallio asked to pull Item 10 for discussion. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Wavied second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2061 amending various Chapters of Title 18 <br /> of the Pleasanton Municipal Code to comply with California Government Code Sections 65583 <br /> and 65589.5 and with the 2012 Pleasanton General Plan Housing Element pertaining to <br /> emergency homeless shelters and supportive and transitional housing <br /> 5.
