information from the Fire Marshal to all future tenants, on-site managers, and <br /> future property owners. <br /> 6. Greenhouse Gas Emissions. <br /> a. Appliances and/or systems that meet Energy Star standards shall be installed <br /> as part of the project. The proposed appliances and/or systems and how they <br /> adhere to the Energy Star standards shall be stated on the plans submitted <br /> for the issuance of a building permit. <br /> b. An estimate of the energy savings from the installation of solar roofs or other <br /> alternative energy measures shall be prepared by the Project Developer, with <br /> a goal of a 12.5% minimum reduction of annual energy use. The <br /> calculation(s) shall be submitted with the building permit plan set. <br /> c. The project shall include bicycle and pedestrian connections. The bicycle and <br /> pedestrian connections shall be shown on the building permit plan set <br /> submitted to the Director of Community Development for review and approval <br /> before issuance of the first building permit. <br /> d. The project shall include: 1) light colored pavement and/or pavers, if <br /> pavement and/or pavers are proposed; and/or 2) strategica'ly placed shade <br /> trees, to reduce the sun's heating of the site. These measures shall be <br /> shown on the building permit plan set submitted to the Director of Community <br /> Development for review and approval before issuance of the first building <br /> permit. <br /> e. Water conservation devices shall be installed as part of the project. The <br /> water conservation devices shall be stated on the plans submitted for the <br /> issuance of a building permit. <br /> 7. Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance. The project shall comply with the State of <br /> California's Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance. A licensed landscape <br /> architect shall verify the project's compliance with the ordinance: 1) prior to the <br /> issuance of a building permit; and 2) prior to final inspection. The verification shall <br /> be provided to the Planning Division. <br /> 8. Building and Safety Division and Engineering Division. <br /> a. All construction activities shall comply with any City of Pleasanton <br /> Construction and Demolition Ordinance effective at the time of building permit <br /> issuance. <br /> b. The building(s) shall meet the applicable Title 24 state energy requirements. <br /> c. The project shall be subject to the City's Green Building Ordinance, Chapter <br /> 17.50 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br /> Conditions of Approval/PUD-57 <br /> Appendix Conditions <br /> 18 <br />
