A redline version of the text amendments is provided as Exhibit A of Attachment 1. <br /> The Planning Commission, having continued this item from their January 23, 2013 <br /> meeting, held a public hearing on this proposed code amendment at their February 13, <br /> 2013 meeting. Notices regarding the proposed code amendment and related public <br /> hearing were published in The Valley Times on January 13, 2013. There were no <br /> speakers from the public at the hearing. With a vote of 5-0 the Commission adopted a <br /> resolution recommending approval of the amendment to the City Council. Please refer <br /> to the Planning Commission staff report and in Attachment 2 for an in-depth discussion <br /> of the proposed amendment, and to Attachment 3 for draft Planning Commission <br /> meeting minutes. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> No communications have been received from the public on this proposed code <br /> amendment. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br /> The adoption of the 2012 Housing Element was part of the project which was described <br /> in the Supplemental Environmental Impact Report certified by the City Council on <br /> January 4, 2012. The proposed amendment to the Pleasanton Municipal Code shown <br /> in Exhibit A constitutes implementation of Program 41.9 of the Housing Element and is <br /> therefore consistent with the Housing Element project as described and analyzed in the <br /> certified SEIR.
