To address the community concern, an <br /> extensive traffic study was conducted using various YMCA facilities in the area, and also undertook sensitivity <br /> analyses to ensure that an absolute worst case scenario was evaluated. <br /> West County Health Center,County of Contra Costa Health Services District, Contra Costa,CA., The Contra <br /> Costa Health Services District received a $16 million grant from the federal Health Resources Services <br /> Administration to fund the construction of a new health center. Directed the preparation of CEQA and NEPA <br /> documents to clear the project for construction and assess the potential impacts including noise,traffic, and <br /> Native American resources. Because of the federal involvement, She assisted also in preparing information for <br /> SHPO review, including documentation of contact with representatives of relevant Native American tribes. The <br /> County selected a new site for the project mid-way through the review process;Work was done quickly and <br /> efficiently to update all CEQA and NEPA documentation to reflect the new location and relevant impact <br /> discussions without extending the project schedule. <br /> San Francisco Ferry Building Renovation Project Mitigated Negative Declaration, Port of San Francisco, <br /> CA., Project entailed the preparation of a mitigated negative declaration that served to clear the historic <br /> renovation of the Ferry Building, a landmark multiple use facility of the San Francisco waterfront. Working with <br /> both the Port of San Francisco and the city's planning department,She assisted in the analyzing the renovation <br /> of the building to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation, which required close consultation <br /> with the California Office of Historic Preservation to ensure conservation of the Building's historic elements, <br /> including the central nave, historic staircases, and the Great Seal of California on the second floor. <br /> Data Center MNDs,City of Santa Clara,CA., Directed the preparation of five mitigated negative declarations <br /> to clear five separate data center projects in the City of Santa Clara. As the project sites are located within <br /> relatively close proximity of one another, Mary strategized with the City to implement cost and time-saving <br /> measures to complete the documents.The primary issue of concern was greenhouse gas emissions. Under <br /> Mary's direction,staff used a then-new quantitative model released by the BAAQMD to document GHG <br /> emissions. <br /> Sufism Reoriented Project EIR, County of Contra Costa,CA., Sufism Reoriented proposes building and <br /> operating a new religious facility in the Saranap neighborhood near Walnut Creek.The project entails extensive <br /> excavation intended to place 2/3 of the 66,000 square foot building area below grade. Citical issues <br /> examined in the EIR include visual impacts and compatibility,transport and disposal of excavated materials, <br /> and streetscape improvements. <br /> Concar Offices EIR,City of San Mateo, CA., Oversaw the preparation of the environmental document for the <br /> Concar Office Project,which entailed the redevelopment of a 4.75-acre site as 200,000 square feet of office <br /> space and ground floor retail such as a deli and other local-serving uses.
