WORKPLAN PRODUCTS: AD Draft / Preliminary Draft/ Draft Specific Plan Documents Remaining Issues Summary Report Presentation Materials MEETINGS: Task Force 4 Community Workshop City Council TASK 8— The format and content of the East Pleasanton.Specific Plan HR wilt be in full ENVIRONMENTAL compliance with the CEQ/-1 Guidelines and City of Pleasanton's environmental policies IMPACT REPORT and ordinances. The FIR will draw from the General Plan and General Plan FIR as well as the I IR prepared for the Housing Y?lement and Climate Action Plan General Plan Amendment and Regonings. The Specific Plan HR may tier from these documents where appropriate. HR organization mill include existing conditions, impacts, and mitigation measures discussions addressing issues and impacts specific to the Specific Plan. I CS will supplement text with graphics and summary tables to present informateon in a concise and easy-to-understand foormat. The proposed scope of work that follows is oganiged into major tasks. Refinements to the scope of work, budget, and project schedule will be discussed, if needed, at the direction of the City. The environmental impact report(EIR)will analyze land uses and densities of development as described in the Specific Plan, including rezoning, annexation, and design guidelines. .Subsequent projects that are within the envelope of land uses and intensities analyzed in the EIR can potentially he cleared with design review,site-specific studies where needed, and a CEQ/I addendum to demonstrate that the level of impact would be within the envelope already analyzed and disclosed Subtask 8.I - Project Meet with City staff and the Planning Team to obtain information necessary Initiation and Organization for preparation of the project description, establish lines of communication among various Planning Team members, and become familiar with any new issues and concerns identified for FIR analysis. Specific tasks include the following: Attend an initial orientation meeting with City staff and the Planning Team to review the project description and the proposed project scope of work,and to confirm the elements that will be included in descriptions of the project and alternatives to the proposed project. Coordinate with the Planning Team to develop conceptual alternative planning concepts that will reduce project impacts. Refine the project schedule,if needed, based upon agreements reached during contract negotiations and on information discussed after the completion of project technical studies. Receive all existing reference and research materials related to the Specific Plan area and vicinity,including base maps, aerial photographs,background reports,other relevant Specific Plan EIRs prepared for the City.
