BACKGROUND
The project consists of the application of a slurry seal coating to approximately
1,700,000 square feet of pavement on the following fourteen (14) City streets with latex
emulsified asphalt utilizing Type II black volcanic aggregate. Slurry sealing is used to
extend the life of existing street pavements. Below is a list of the roadway locations
scheduled for slurry seal.
STREET NAME BEGIN LOCATION END LOCATION FC LENGTH WIDTH AREA(SQFT)
KOTTINGER SECOND STREET BERNAL AVENUE C 3,988 37 146,494
DRIVE
VINEYARD FIRST STREET BERNAL AVENUE C 3,763 36 138,917
AVENUE
CHRISTINA VINEYARD END R 575 33 20,491
COURT AVENUE
AMADOR COURT VINEYARD END R 724 29 22,230
AVENUE
VISTA DIABLO VINEYARD WEST/EAST ENDS R 875 32 33,157
COURT AVENUE
RAY STREET MAIN STREET FIRST STREET C 1,262 31 41,098
FAIR STREET ROSE AVENUE DIVISION STREET R 513 39 17,800
ROSE AVENUE PLEASANTON FAIR STREET C 1,999 33 64,483
AVENUE
PLEASANTON ST.
