Invitation to Bid on "As Needed Services" <br /> • Trouble shoot and repair remote telemetry units and controllers associated with water <br /> and sewer systems. <br /> • Provide installation of electrical systems at various locations. <br /> UTILITIES —Water Pump Repairs <br /> The City is requesting an experienced licensed contractor to perform routine and emergency <br /> Water pump repair work for the Utilities Division. This work would be performed at any of <br /> the City's water or facilities located throughout the City. <br /> All Contractors' employees shall comply with all Federal, State, and local laws and <br /> regulations governing the installation and testing of electrical pumping equipment and <br /> components. All Contractors' employees shall comply with all OSHA and City policies <br /> regarding the proper use of Lockout/Tagout procedures. <br /> The following outline provides a scope of work for the City's expectations regarding "as <br /> needed" Water pump repair work for utilities: <br /> • Provide routine pump service at all utilities' pump stations. <br /> • Provide emergency service on a call out basis for these same locations. <br /> • Provide troubleshooting and repairs to Pumps and motors of varying voltage and <br /> phase. <br /> • Perform work on water and sewer pumps varying in size from 2 H.P. to 450 H.P. <br /> • Troubleshoot and repair any controllers and accessories associated with water, sewer, <br /> and storm pumping systems. <br /> • Provide removal and installation of pumps and electric motors at locations. <br /> UTILITIES— Sewer and Storm Pump Repairs <br /> The City is requesting an experienced licensed contractor to perform routine and emergency <br /> Sewer and storm pump repair work for the Utilities Division. This work would be performed <br /> at any of the City's sewer and storm facilities located throughout the City. <br /> All Contractors' employees shall comply with all Federal, State, and local laws and <br /> regulations governing the installation and testing of electrical pumping equipment and <br /> components. All Contractors' employees shall comply with all OSHA and City policies <br /> regarding the proper use of Lockout/Tagout procedures. Also contractor will pay particular <br /> attention to confined space procedures when working on sewer and storm drain pumps. <br /> The scope of work for "as needed" Sewer and Storm pump repair work for utilities is the same <br /> as above for water pumps. <br /> UTILITIES — Generator Repair and Modification Services <br /> The City is requesting an experienced licensed contractor to perform routine and emergency <br /> generator repair and modification work for the Utilities Division.
