Invitation to Bid on "As Needed Services" <br /> • In emergency situations, the contractor must verbally notify residents and businesses <br /> prior to interruption of service. <br /> • All necessary asphalt or concrete cutting or sawing removal and replacement per City <br /> Specifications. <br /> • Submit to City of Pleasanton Utilities Division as-built drawing for each new project <br /> including address and location. <br /> UTILITIES- Water Main Repairs <br /> • See sewer main repair section for required specs and notifications as the same basic <br /> information applies. <br /> UTILITIES —Storm System Repairs <br /> • See sewer main repair section for required specs and notifications as the same basic <br /> information applies. <br /> UTILITIES - Polybutylene Service Replacement <br /> • See sewer main section for required general specifications in addition to the three <br /> listed below. <br /> • Remove and replace polybutylene services (1" through 2") with polyethylene tubing <br /> per City of Pleasanton Drawing 301 Note 4 Column A. <br /> • Repair water services on an "as required" basis and also on a 24-hour emergency basis <br /> including overtime if required. <br /> • Service replacement by "Pulling Method" <br /> UTILITIES - Process Control Electrical <br /> The City is requesting an experienced licensed contractor to perform routine and emergency <br /> electrical and telemetry work for the Utilities Division. This work would be performed at any <br /> of the City's water or sewer facilities located throughout the City. <br /> All Contractors' employees shall comply with all Federal, State, and local laws and <br /> regulations governing the installation and testing of electrical equipment and components. All <br /> Contractors' employees shall comply with all OSHA and City policies regarding the proper <br /> use of Lockout/Tagout procedures. <br /> The following outline provides a scope of work for the City's expectations regarding "as <br /> needed" electrical work for utilities: <br /> • Provide routine electrical service at all utilities' pump stations and telemetry sites. <br /> • Provide emergency service on a call out basis for these same locations. <br /> • Provide troubleshooting and repairs to MCC (Motor Control Center) and control units <br /> of varying voltage and phase. <br /> • Perform work on water and sewer pumps varying in size from 2 H.P. to 450 H.P. <br /> 4 <br />
