Ms. Rodriguez thanked the Council for <br /> helping to commemorate this milestone. <br /> 10. Proclamation recognizing March 2012 as American Red Cross Month <br /> Councilmember Thorne read the proclamation recognizing March 2012 as American Red Cross Month <br /> and introduced Varsha Clare of American Red Cross. Ms. Clare thanked the City for its support. <br /> 11. Public Comment <br /> Fred Norman stated that 45 American military men and women have died in Afghanistan this year.
