Specifications, Terms & Conditions <br /> for Operation and Maintenance Services of Sewer and Water Systems <br /> unincorporated area of Alameda County. It is located southwesterly of the City of <br /> Pleasanton, adjacent to the Arroyo de la Laguna. Elevations within the CSA range from <br /> 250 feet along the Arroyo de la Laguna to 1500 feet at the CSA's western boundary. The <br /> CSA boundaries encompass the club buildings and facilities, including two (2) 18-hole <br /> golf courses, and over 200 home sites. <br /> D. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS <br /> 1. The contractor will provide the following services for a monthly operation fee: <br /> a. Review the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) data daily. <br /> Vendor must be able to interface with and monitor any existing field <br /> devices or install vendors own SCADA system. Vendor must understand <br /> transmitted data and respond appropriately; <br /> b. Monitor sewerage capacity and related sewerage system data; <br /> c. Certified pump operators will visit two (2) tank sites twice a week; <br /> d. Inspect pumps and pump sites; <br /> e. Change weekly pump charts as required; <br /> f. Check pressure backflow devices monthly per as built drawings; <br /> g. Perform initial inspection and operate and inspect valves as necessary; <br /> h. Flush mains as necessary; <br /> i. Repair service leaks on County-maintained services. County-maintained <br /> services are defined as laterals installed from the water main to the meter <br /> box and ball valve; <br /> j. Repair main leaks; <br /> k. Conduct fire flow tests as required by the Alameda County Fire Marshall; <br /> 1. Routine maintenance of fire hydrants as required by the Alameda County <br /> Fire Marshall; <br /> m. Assist residents in locating leaks on their property; <br /> n. Assist residents in locating on-site laterals; <br /> Page 6 of 29 <br />
