WHEREAS, after a review of the materials presented, the City Council <br /> determined that, as conditioned, the proposed two-story home would be appropriate for <br /> the site and would be consistent with the zoning regulations of the zoning district of the <br /> property. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER THE <br /> FOLLOWING: <br /> Section 1. Denies the appeal, thereby upholding the decision of the Planning <br /> Commission approving Case No. P11-0709 (Design Review) and P11-0717 (Variance), <br /> the application of Dave and Francine Cunningham for Design Review approval to replace <br /> the approximately 482-square-foot, single-story house located at 205 Neal Street with an <br /> approximately 1,844-square-foot two-story residence and for variances from the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code to: (1) reduce the front yard setback from the required 23 feet <br /> to 20 feet to accommodate the new house; (2) allow one required off-street parking space <br /> to be located in the required front yard setback; and (3) allow tandem parking, subject to <br /> the conditions shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part of this case by <br /> reference. <br /> SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on January 17, 2012. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the <br /> foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the <br /> 17th day of January 2012, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: <br /> Noes: <br /> Absent: <br /> Abstain: <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Jonathan Lowell, City Attorney <br /> 2 <br />
