Unique to the EUP, staff has been working with contractors and affiliated agencies to <br /> incorporate water conservation measures into the EUP program. Those features include: <br /> • Free kitchen and bathroom faucet aerators <br /> • Free high-efficiency shower heads <br /> • Free dye tablets to detect toilet leaks <br /> • Free or discounted high-efficiency toilets (HET), plus a rebate up to $150 for <br /> installation of HETs <br /> • Free irrigation assessment and adjustment <br /> • Free irrigation rain sensor and installation <br /> • Rebates on upgrade of irrigation equipment <br /> Additionally, Pleasanton home owners can receive a comprehensive energy assessment <br /> for $99, which includes a custom report showing the home deficiencies and options for <br /> correcting them. Staff also negotiated a 10% discount in labor and material for upgrade <br /> work.
