He added that it is worth noting <br />priority session, there was discussion on what the timing of the East Side Specific Plan <br />would be. He stated that the Council gave every indication they were interested in <br />doing it as soon as the Housing Element is completed. <br /> <br />Mr. Dolan stated that the process will take some time, but it could be done concurrently. <br />He added that it will be a very interesting process to deal with individual sites and the <br />bigger picture at the same time. <br /> <br />Commissthat the Commission keep in mind that there are <br />very few zonings that would have less impact than residential zoning, and if this site is <br />not zoned for housing of some type at this point, there would be more complaints <br />regarding impacts when it is zoned something else later. <br /> <br />Commissioner Pearce stated that there is so much acreage on the site, there could be <br />great things done with it, and she hoped it would be done with a lot of careful thought. <br /> <br />There was consensus among the Commissioners to support keeping this site on <br />the list. <br /> <br />Site 15: Valley Trails Church Site <br /> <br />This site was already removed from the list. <br /> <br />Both <br />indicating that they are in favor of removing this from the list. <br /> <br />There was consensus among the Commissioners in supporting to maintain the <br />removal of this site from the list. <br /> <br />Site 16: Vintage Hills Shopping Center <br /> <br />Commissioner Olson stated that he went back and forth on this. He noted that two of <br />the corners at the site are apartments, and he thinks this would be a pretty decent <br />mixed-use site.
