EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERv TEES -I S1 RESPONDER ADVANCED LII E SUPPORT AGREEMENT (REV 2/17/11) <br /> services shall be provided without regard to the patient's race, color, national origin, <br /> religion, sexual orientation, age, sex, or ability to pay. <br /> b. Contractor shall work cooperatively with the County EMS Director, EMS Medical <br /> Director, and other County staff and agencies to fulfill the terms and conditions of this <br /> Agreement. <br /> 3.5 Primary Service Area <br /> Contractor, within the area designated herein as Contractor's Primary Service Area, which <br /> includes the entire area within the City of Pleasanton, and as described in EXHIBIT A- <br /> DEPICTION AND DEFINITION OF CONTRACTOR'S PRIMARY SERVICE AREA. <br /> SECTION 4 - FIRST RESPONDER COOPERATION/DESIGNATION <br /> 4.1 Contractor's personnel shall cooperate fully with transporting ambulance personnel to <br /> facilitate the timely and effective transfer of patient care at the scene; according to Alameda <br /> County EMS policy. <br /> 4.2 In order to receive subsidy under the terms of this agreement, Contractor agrees that to <br /> qualify as a FRALS unit, each unit shall be staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. <br /> 4.3 Intermittent or Rotational Service Interruption <br /> a. FRALS Service which is reduced more than 12 hours in a 24 hour time period shall result <br /> in a prorata reduction of the total revenue provided for a full-time FRALS unit. <br /> b. Contractor shall send a quarterly report (EXHIBIT F- REPORT ON INTERMITTENT OR <br /> ROTATIONAL SERVICE INT ?RRUPTION) to the County EMS Director within 10 calendar days of <br /> the end of each quarter, showing the number of out-of-service days and locations in <br /> excess of 12 hours. <br /> SECTION 5 - PERFORMANCE STANDARDS <br /> 5.1 Response Times <br /> Contractor's response time for requests for emergency medical services shall be dispatched <br /> according to MPDS categories and shall meet the following performance standards: <br /> a. Contractor's Response Times shall be calculated on a monthly basis for reporting <br /> purposes to determine compliance using Percentile (Fractile) Response Time <br /> measurements. Response Times for departments with low call volume (less than 100 <br /> calls per month) shall be calculated once the Contractor has responded to 100 calls. <br /> Page 3 of 26 <br />
