"§1-3.25.05. Alternate Member. <br /> <br /> (a) In addition to the five regular members of <br /> the Commission, there shall be an alternate <br /> member who shall vote in the case of an <br /> absence or conflict of interest of any regular <br /> commissioner. <br /> <br /> (b) The alternate commissioner can serve as a <br /> voting member on any subcommittee of the Park <br /> and Recreation Commission and may be designated <br /> as the Park and Recreation Commission's <br /> representative to other boards and commissions. <br /> <br /> (c) The alternate commissioner first appointed <br /> shall serve until February 15, 1986 and <br /> successive appointments after that date shall <br /> be for four (4) year terms. <br />Section 5: Chapter 2 of Title I is amended by adding an Article 6A to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Article 6A <br /> <br /> Human Services Commission <br /> <br />§1-3.32.05 Creation. The Human Services Commission created <br /> by Resolution No. 76-21 of the City of Pleasanton is <br /> hereby established by ordinance. <br /> §1-3.32.10 Membership. The Commission shall be comprised <br /> of eight (8) members all of whom shall be residents of <br /> the City of Pleasanton. Members of the Commission <br /> shall serve without compensation. <br /> §1-3.32.15 Appointment. The Commission members shall be <br /> appointed by the Mayor, subject to approval by vote of <br /> the City Council. The individual members shall be <br /> appointed as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) Five (5) public members shall be appointed from <br /> the community-at-large. <br /> <br /> (b)One alternate public member from the community-at- <br /> large. <br /> <br /> (c) Three (3) liaison members shall be appointed from <br /> existing City Commissions or Boards as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. One (1) member from the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> 2. One (1) member from the Park and Recreation <br /> Commission. <br /> <br /> 3. One (1) member from the Housing Authority <br /> Board. <br /> <br /> -2- <br /> <br /> <br />
