• Completed the design and construction of new 1.4 million gallon water tank and booster <br />pump station to improve water services throughout the city, including the Vineyard Corridor. <br />• Completed the design and construction of the Bernal Avenue bridge widening to improve <br />circulation near Vineyard Avenue. <br />• Resurfaced approximately nine miles of city streets to improve visual aesthetics, attenuate <br />noise and enhance drivability and performance. <br />• Installed approximately 16.3 miles of new on- street bike lanes throughout the City. <br />• Completed two- thirds of the creek restoration on the Bernal Property. Remaining third to <br />be improved with future phases of the Bernal Community Park. <br />• Coordinated construction and inspection of the Valley Avenue extension and underpass <br />project consistent with approved development agreements. <br />• Completed design and construction of Downtown Wi Fi System. <br />• Secured shared financing with PUSD to improve Donlon School playfields, creating an <br />amenity for the joint benefit of students and the surrounding neighborhood. <br />• Completed the design and construction of Pleasanton Middle School tennis court lights and <br />resurfacing project. <br />• Completed design and construction of BMX Facility and negotiated associated ground <br />lease agreement with East Bay Regional Parks District. <br />• Completed the undergrounding of overhead utilities on First Street and installed decorative <br />streetlights. <br />• Completed renovation of the athletic fields at Amador Valley Community Park. <br />• Completed the design and construction of the Iron Horse Trail from Busch Road to Santa <br />Rita Road. <br />• Installed or retrofitted approximately 353 ADA ramps throughout the City to improve access <br />for disabled residents. <br />COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT (e.g., short- and Tong -term planning and <br />economic development initiatives <br />• Approved Bernal Property Specific PIan1EIR, Community Park Master Plan, and Bernal <br />Park Financing Plan. <br />• Completed a comprehensive General Plan Update, with new sustainability initiatives <br />related to water, energy, fiscal and climate change. Also includes revised land use map <br />with "mixed use" emphasis throughout the city, as well as improved circulation strategies. <br />2 <br />
