Tri-Valley Water Retailers Cooperation Agreement <br />Page 7 <br /> <br /> iii. monitor and review other matters such as recycled water, water conservation, <br /> and how each of those programs is being addressed by Zone 7; and <br /> <br /> iv. make information about the Parties' activities under this Agreement available <br /> to the public. <br /> b. The Parties may, either cooperatively or individually, through Staffwhere appropriate, <br /> <br />undertake additional actions, some of which may require additional agreement, for their mutual <br />benefit with regard to the water supply and water quality issues and uncertainties identified in <br /> <br /> Section 4 ofth/s Agreement. Such actions may include, but shall not be limited to: <br /> i. preparing planning, engineering, and financial reports; <br /> ii. constructing facilities; <br /> iii. issuing press releases and holding news conferences; <br /> iv. retaining advocates to influence the decisions of Zone 7 and other entities; <br /> v. proposing, supporting, or opposing legislation; <br /> vi. holding common meetings; <br /> vii. filing and prosecuting legal actions; and <br /> viii. other appropriate actions to further the mutual interests of the Parties. <br /> <br />7. COMMITTEE OF VALLEY WATER RETAILERS <br /> <br /> a. The Parties shall appoint a Committee of Valley Water Retailers ("CoVWR") as <br /> <br />specified in this Section. The CoVWR shall conduct an annual publicly noticed meeting at <br />which it shall (i) receive public comment on the Annual Report and vote whether to approve the <br />Annual Report, and (ii) set the priorities and provide additional direction regarding the issues to <br /> <br />be addressed under this Agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />
