Tri-Valley Water Retailers Cooperation Agreement <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />the Parties' long term water needs are being addressed by Zone 7, and identification of changes <br />in the regional water supply which have the potential to affect the quantity, quality, and <br />reliability of the supplies delivered to the Parties by Zone 7. The Annual Report may also <br />address the status of other related issues including recommendations for appropriate actions. The <br />Annual Report shall be presented to the Committee of Valley Water Retailers as set forth in <br />Section 7, and thereafter presented to the governing body of each Party. The Annual Report <br />shall be provided to Zone 7 and the California Department of Water Resources, and shall also be <br />made available to the public, the press, and to other entities as may so request. <br /> <br />6. ADDITIONAL VOLUNTARY ACTIONS FOR THE MUTUAL BENEFIT OF THE <br /> <br />PARTIES <br /> <br /> a. The Parties may work cooperatively through Staffto further the purposes of this <br />Agreement by engaging in additional coordinated activities, including but not limited to the <br />following: <br /> <br /> i. formulate and provide advice, recommendations, and input to Zone 7 and other <br /> appropriate agencies on water planning and regional water management, including <br /> recommendations regarding additional water supplies that may be needed for the Parties <br /> and/or Zone 7 to satisfy projected water demand and water quality goals for the Valley, <br /> and the time frame in which those supplies should be acquired; <br /> <br /> ii. monitor and assess the progress of Zone 7 capital improvements and its <br /> consistency with projections; identify areas where Zone 7 capital improvements may not <br /> be keeping pace with water demand projections or water quality goals, and develop <br /> recommended solutions; <br /> <br /> <br />
