Tri-Valley Water Retailers Cooperation Agreement <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />demands; <br /> h. <br /> i. <br /> <br />The status of the construction of Zone 7 facilities in relationsb, ip to projected <br /> <br />The quality of drinking water and Safe Drinking Water Act compliance; and <br />The use of recycled water anywhere within the Valley. <br /> <br /> 5. COORDINATED EFFORTS AND ANNUAL REPORT <br /> <br /> The Parties hereby agree to cooperate in addressing the water supply and water quality <br /> issues and uncertainties identified in Section 4 of this Agreement. Each Party shall authorize <br /> members of its professional staff, employees, and consultants (hereinafter, "Staff") to cooperate <br /> and coordinate with Staff of the other Parties in the implementation and administration of this <br /> Agreement. The Parties shall cooperate and coordinate through Staffin regard to the followir~.g <br /> efforts: <br /> <br /> a. Monitoring, discussing, and attempting to resolve the water supply and water quality <br /> issues and uncertainties identified in Section 4 of this Agreement; <br /> <br /> b. Identifying potential water supply shortfalls and water quality problems in the region <br />and identifying a range of remedial measures that could be implemented to eliminate such <br />shortfalls; <br /> <br /> c. Reviewing Zone 7 rate and connection fee proposals and plans of finance for its <br />capital programs; and <br /> <br /> d. Preparing, or directing appropriate exper~ consultants in the preparation of, an Annual <br />Report from the Parties' common perspective. The Annual Report shall be prepared and <br />circulated to the public no later than October 1 of each year. The Annual Report shall include a <br />status report on the condition of the region's water supply and water quality, the extent to which <br /> <br /> <br />
