Tri-Valley Water Retailers Cooperation Agreement <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />grapes; <br /> <br /> b. <br /> <br /> and (iii) providing notice of these actions as provided for in Section 11. Upon satisfaction of <br /> their respective three conditions, CWS and/or Pleasanton shall become a Party effective 60 days <br /> after giving the notice provided for in Section 11, unless the then-current Parties and the new <br /> Party agree in writing to a shorter waiting period. <br /> <br />4. WATER SUPPLY AND WATER QUALITY ISSUES AND UNCERTAINTIES <br /> <br /> By this Agreement the Parties seek to (i) cooperatively identify and monitor uncertainties <br />in the future water supply of the Valley, and (ii) provide a forum for the Parties to discuss and <br />resolve water supply and water quality issues and uncertainties. The Parties shall cooperate in <br />the identification and monitoring of water supply and water quality issues and such uncertaintie~ <br />as may affect their water supply including, without limitation: <br /> <br /> Zone 7 untreated water demands for agricultural uses, in particular irrigation of <br /> <br /> Changes in annual and long term deliveries, and reliability of State Water Project <br /> deliveries, to Zone 7; <br /> <br /> c. The status of the Zone 7 - Byron Bethany Irrigation District contract after 2013; <br /> <br /> d. Implementation of the Zone 7 Urban Water Management Plan including its <br />conservation element and its potential impact on future water demands; <br /> <br /> e. Revisions in Zone 7's criteria for water supply reliability and/or Zone 7's <br /> <br />conjunctive use of the Main Basin, and Zone 7 drought shortage targets; <br /> <br /> f. Protection of Main Basin groundwater quality through implementation of the <br /> <br />Zone 7 Salt Management Program Implementation Plan of August 1999; <br /> <br /> <br />
