TH-Valley Water Retailers Cooperation Agreement <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />2. DEFINITIONS <br /> <br /> a. "Main Basin" shall mean that pan o£the Livermore-Amador Valley groundwater <br /> <br />basin located essentially within the valley floor sections of the Castle, Boreal, Amador, and <br />Mocho (II) Sub-basins as defined in Depm~rnent of Water Resources Bulletin No. 118-2, <br />Evaluation o£ Groundwater Resources: Livermore and Sunol Valleys, State of California, <br />Department of Water Resources. <br /> <br /> b. "Parties" is used herein to re£er to Livermore and DSRSD. "Parties" shall also <br /> <br />include Pleasamon and/or CWS after Pleasanton and/or CWS have become Parties pursuant to <br />Section 3(b) of this Agreement. <br /> <br /> "Valley" shall mean the Livermore-Amador Valley. <br /> <br /> "Valley Water Retailers" is used herein to refer to the Parties signatory to this <br /> <br />3. PARTIES TO THIS AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> a. Upon execution of this Agreement, Livermore and DSRSD are Parties to the <br />Agreement. <br /> <br /> b. In light of their common interests as retailers of Zone 7 water, Livermore and DSRSD <br />desire for Pleasanton and CWS to also become Parties to this Agreement. Pleasanton may <br />become a Party to this Agreement by (i) passing a resolution of its City Council by which it <br />agrees to all the terms oftkis Agreement, (ii) executing the Pleasanton Signature Page attached <br />hereto, and (iii) providing notice of these actions as provided for in Section 1 I. CWS may <br />become a Party to this Agreement by (i) passing a resolution of its corporate board by which it <br />agrees to all the terms of this Agreement, (ii) executing the CWS Signature Page attached hereto, <br /> <br /> <br />
