VI. Annexation, Detachment, and Lot Line Adjustment
A. Annexation and Detachment. The parties intend that the ultimate City
boundary shall be located at the northeasterly edge of the right-of--way of
the realigned Vineyazd Avenue. To have the city limit line located at this
practical location requires both annexation of that portion of the
neighboring Lonestar California, Inc. property lying south of the
northeasterly edge of the right-of--way, as well as detachment of that
portion of the Property lying north of the northeasterly edge of the right-
of-way. The parties agree to take the steps necessary to subdivide or
adjust lot lines in order to establish a lot boundayy capable of becoming a
city limit line in accordance with Local Agency Formation
Commission (LAFCO) requirements. The parties further agree to using
good faith efforts in taking such steps as may be required to gain favorable
approval of these boundary adjustments, including, but not limited to,
property tax-shazing agreements, applications to LAFCO, and support for
the boundazy adjustments at associated hearings.
B. Lot Line Adjustments. The City shall approve lot line adjustments
described below unless such approvals cannot be granted for health and
safety reasons:
(1) Expansion of the Property to include those portions of the Lonestaz
California, Inc. parcel lying southerly of the right-of--way.
Revision #3, Draft Hahner Development Agreement Page 11 of 17
