Resolution No. PC-2002-22 <br />Page 6 <br />Plan ("Plan"), on a form approved by the City as part of the application packet for the building or <br />demolition permit. The completed Plan shall indicate all of the following: <br />(1) the estimated percentage of project C&D debris, by material type, to be generated; <br />(2) the maximum percentage of such materials that can feasibly be diverted via reuse or <br />recycling; <br />(3) the Franchise Collector or facility that the Applicant proposes to use to collect or <br />receive that recyclable material; <br />(4) the estimated percentage of refuse that will be sent to a landfill; <br />(5) that the Applicant shall Source Sepazate as required by the Plan; and <br />(6) that the Applicant: (i) shall pay the fee set forth in the rate schedule adopted by the <br />City of Pleasanton for the Franchise Collector to remove all refuse from the site of the <br />Covered Project; (ii) may use the services of the Franchise Collector for removal of <br />recyclable materials; (iii) may sell recyclable materials to third parties at fair market <br />value; or (iv) may hire athird-party to remove recyclable materials which the Franchise <br />Collector has stated that it cannot or will not accept for recycling. <br />Section 9.21.040. Submission of Performance Security. <br />a. Constmction Projects. The Applicant for any Covered Project for constmction with <br />a total project value greater than or equal to one million dollazs ($1,000,000.) shall submit a <br />Performance Security before the issuance of a building permit. The amount of the <br />Performance Security shall equal one percent (1%) of the Project value, with the total <br />amount of the performance security not to exceed one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000). <br />Where a Covered Project is being constmcted in phases, the Compliance Officer has the <br />discretion to allow a Sepazate Performance Security to be posted for each Sepazate phase. <br />b. Demolition Projects. The Applicant for any Covered Project for demolition with a <br />total project value greater than or equal to one hundred thousand dollazs ($100,000.) shall <br />submit a Performance Security before the issuance of a demolition permit. The amount of <br />the Performance Security shall total ten thousand dollars ($10,000) plus one percent (1 %) of <br />the Project Value, with the total amount of the performance security not to exceed one <br />hundred thousand dollars ($100,000). <br />c. Acceptable forms of Performance Security include the following: Perfortnazice <br />Bonds; Surety Bonds; Money Orders; Letters of Credit; Certificates of Deposit; or alternate <br />security acceptable to the City. <br />
