<br />9.21.070, in which case the Diversion Requirement shall be the maximum feasible diversion rate
<br />established by the Compliance Official for the Project.
<br />j "Franchised Collector" means the person, firm, limited liability company,
<br />association or partnership that is operating pursuant to the exclusive refuse collection contract for
<br />the collection of all refuse within the City pursuant to Section 9.20.100.
<br />k. "Noncovered Project" shall have the meaning set forth in Section 9.21.020.b.
<br />1. "Performance Security" means any performance bond, surety bond, money order,
<br />letter of credit, certificate of deposit, or alternate security acceptable to the City, submitted to the
<br />City pursuant to Section 9.21.040.
<br />m. "Project" means any activity which requires an application for a building or
<br />demolition permit or any similaz permit from the City.
<br />n. "Project value" means the valuation of the construction or demolition stated in the
<br />building permit. For new residential subdivision construction, the project value for purposes of
<br />this Chapter shall be calculated based on the combined value of the building permits for all of the
<br />individual housing units within the tract map (or each final map, if phased), except in cases of
<br />custom homes, which shall be valued individually.
<br />o. "Recyclable Material" means material that is reusable, including but not limited to
<br />metals, glass, plastic, wood, drywall, concrete and paper, which is intended for reuse,
<br />remanufacture, or reconstitution for the purpose of using the altered form.
<br />p. "Recyclable Material Management Plan" [`Plan'] means a completed Plan form,
<br />approved by the City for the purpose of compliance with this Chapter, submitted by the
<br />Applicant for any Covered or Noncovered Project.
<br />q. "Refuse" means all putrescible and nonputrescible, combustible and
<br />noncombustible solid wastes, including, but not limited to, animal and vegetable waste resulting
<br />from the preparation, cooking and consumption of food, garbage, rubbish, ashes, street cleaning,
<br />dead animals, solid market and industrial waste, paper wrappings, cigazettes, cazdboazd, tin cans,
<br />yazd clippings, leaves, glass, bedding, crockery and similaz materials.
<br />r. "Renovation" (or "Remodel") means any change, addition, or modification to an
<br />existing building or structure.
<br />s. "Source Separate" means physically distributing C&D debris into distinct
<br />containers for different types of recyclable material, as well as a separate container for refuse
