Resolution No. PC-2002-16
Page 3
EXHIBIT "B"
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
PCUP-45
The proposed use shall be in substantial conformance to the plans and narrative,
Exhibit A, dated "Received January 25, 2002," on file with the Planning
Department, except as modified by the following. Minor alterations may be
approved by the Planning Director if found to be in substantial conformance with
this approval.
The business may operate during the following hours:
Monday through Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The facility shall not be open to the public on a drop-in basis. All events shall be
scheduled by advanced reservations. There may be up to two events totaling 50
children at any one time. However, there shall be a 15-minute break between the
end of one event and the beginning of the next event on weekdays before 5:00
p.m. in order to avoid parking and circulation problems.
3. If any elements of the purposed use result in conflicts pertaining to parking, noise,
traffic, loitering, or other impacts, at the discretion of the Planning Director, this
use permit may be submitted to the Planning Commission for subsequent review
at a public hearing. is would include nuisances created through the lack of
inadequate garbage service, or by excessive noise detected outside the buildings.
If necessary, the Planning Commission may modify or add conditions to mitigate
such impacts, or may void the said use permit.
4. The applicant shall contact the Building and Fire Departments to determine all
applicable requirements and obtain all applicable permits. The final floor plan
shall include specific locations for the gaming machines in the lobby area.
The applicant shall coordinate with the property owner and waste management
company to provide sufficient service to the site so that the existing dumpsters for
the dumpster and the lockable dumpster to handle extra garbage do not exceed
capacities prior to scheduled pick up date. This would include increasing service
so that the dumpsters are emptied on a more frequent basis.
6. Prior to beginning operation of the facility, the applicant shall conduct an acoustic
test and submit the report analyzing the noise levels generated by the air blowers.
If the tests indicate that sound levels generated by the air blowers exceed the
limits stated in the General Plan, then sound mitigations, such as muffling devices
for the equipment or installing insulation, shall be required as determined by the
Planning Director.
