Policy 14: Give greater priority to providing housing which is at the low end of the ate-g0°4 <br />low-income range (50 to 80 percent of median income). <br />Policy 15 : Tazget a minimum of 20 percent of all new housing needs to be affordable to <br />moderate-income households. <br />Program 15.1: Use the Growth Management Program to establish an annual objective for <br />moderate-income housing units throu h Growth Management <br />allocations. This allocation should take into account the information contained in the <br />Growth Management Report including housing need, job growth, jobs/housing <br />relationship, General Plan policies, regional shaze allocations, and other available <br />evaluations of housing need. <br />Program 15.2: prierit3~Continue to provide within each yeaz's Growth <br />Management allocation to ilx~ss projects fulfilling the moderate-income housing <br />objective established above. <br />Policy 16: Strive toward meeting Pleasanton's share of regional housing needs, as defined by the <br />Regional Housing Needs Determination (RHND). <br />Program 16.1: Designate sufficient land at appropriate densities to meet local and <br />regional housing needs. <br />Program 16.2: Attempt to rehabilitate five affordable ownership housing units identified <br />as having major building code violations each yeaz between 2001 and 2006, and maintain <br />their affordability.
