Additional Recommendations by Staff <br /> <br />12. Delete Policy 18 on page 27 of the Specific Plan which reads: <br /> <br />"/f and when the current Veterans Memorial and/or <br />Livermore/Amador Valley Historical Society Museum building <br />uses are discontinued a Specific Plan Land Use Map amendment <br />shouM be initiated to re-designate these sites as 'Downtown <br />Commercial. '" <br /> <br />13. Modify Policy 19 on page 27 of the Specific Plan to read: <br /> <br />"Adopt and implement the Master Plan for the Downtown Parks <br />and Trails System, dated Summer 1999, subject to the specific <br />mcd~a, catlons considerations included in the Technical Supplement <br />to this Specific Plan. Also, update the Master Plan on an <br />as-needed basis, subject to a finding of consistency with this <br />Specific Plan." <br /> <br />14. Modify Policy 1 on page 42 of the Specific Plan to read: <br /> <br />"Acquire the Alameda County Transportation Corridor between <br />Bernal Avenue and Stanley Boulevard and provide a total of <br />300public parking spaces within it, in addition '"~ ...... '~ <br />.... ~ ......... ~ ;~ '~ Corridor the uses which are shown on the <br />Master Plan for the Downtown Parks and Trails System. <br />Landscaping provided within the Corridor should be of high <br />quality design." <br /> <br />15.
