16. <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />18. <br /> <br />19. <br /> <br />Modify Design and Beautification Policy 58 D on page 73 of the Specific Plan <br />to read: <br /> <br />"The restoration and adoptive reuse of Fire Station No. 1, which <br />should be a multi-use facility which may include display/exhibit <br />gallery space, a 'black box theater, ' and a multi-purpose space <br />suitable for dance and art activities~ and other community-oriented <br />uses, to be determined at the design development stage of the <br />pro/ect; " <br /> <br />Modify the definition of the term "Office Use" on the last paragraph of <br />page 21 of the Specific Plan to read: <br /> <br />"Office Use - Professional, administrative, and business office <br />uses consistent with the permitted and conditional uses allowed in <br />the "Off'ice" Zoning District, and above-ground-floor multi-family <br />housing." <br /> <br />Designate the property located at 325 Ray Street as "Office" on Figure IV-1 <br />of the Specific Plan. <br /> <br />The Specific Plan Committee recommended that the following policy be <br />added to the Land Use Chapter of the Specific Plan: <br /> <br />"Construct public restrooms (including one with family facilities) <br />at the north end, midway, and at the south end of Main Street, and <br />at Delucchi Park." <br /> <br />However, for reasons noted in the January 9, 2002 staff report, staff <br />recommends that the above policy be revised to read: <br /> <br />"Construct public restrooms (including one with family facilities) <br />at '~ n~rth end, .~.t. ......'* ~' ~ .....
