Commissioner Arkin seconded the amended motion. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the requirement for first-come, first-served projects to be reviewed <br />on a case-by-case basis by the Planning Commission, City Council, and, perhaps the Housing <br />Commission. Commissioner Arkin advised that he would like to see that individuals with one <br />unit not be subject to the review process. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan amended the motion to exempt single lot development from the <br />review process, but in no case shall the 350 units per year, as required by the ordinance, be <br />exceeded. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin advised that he would like the Planning Commission to review the flag <br />ordinance with consideration being given to add a provision to prohibit lighting at night in <br />residential areas. Mr. Swift clarified that the City has zoning regulations that flagpoles fit into, <br />but there is no flagpole ordinance per se.
