<br />Commissioner Sedlak noted that having such access could expedite a meeting. <br /> <br />/"'- Mr. Iserson noted that he would check with the IS Department regarding Internet access. <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry by Chairperson Maas regarding Toby's, Mr. Iserson noted that there <br />had been a considerable effort to find an affordable acoustic solution to the noise problem, but <br />that they had run into difficulties. It did not look optimistic that the ad hoc committee would <br />find a solution. <br /> <br />Chairperson Maas noted that was unfortunate, and added that they had a very good menu. She <br />believed that a self-closing door would have helped the situation. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson noted that would be agendized for November. <br /> <br />8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION <br /> <br />a. Future Planning Calendar <br /> <br />Chairperson Maas noted that the Planning Commission scheduled for November 27, and asked <br />whether a meeting on the night before Thanksgiving would be held. Mr. Iserson noted that it <br />would be up to the discretion of the Commission. He noted that the next two Planning <br />Commission meetings had full agendas. <br /> <br />Chairperson Maas advised that the date for the Tri-Valley Roundtable hosted by the City would <br />_ be November 21, 2002. There was an agreement with Rick Dowling to make a presentation <br />regarding local and regional traffic. It would be held at the Tennis Complex at approximately <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Roberts suggested that a meeting could be held the week after Thanksgiving. <br /> <br />Chairperson Maas noted that if there were time-critical items, that would be a feasible <br />alternative. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson advised that he would get a better feel for the necessity of holding a second <br />November meeting in a few weeks. <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry by Commissioner Sullivan, Mr. Iserson confirmed that continued items <br />normally receive priority on an agenda. He added that staff liked the flexibility to agendize the <br />simple items first so the applicants could leave. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan requested that the energy plan be prioritized on October 23, 2002. <br /> <br />Chairperson Maas agreed with Commissioner Sullivan's request. <br /> <br />b.
