MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS Commissioner Roberts believed that the small items displayed in front of the antiques store were very unsightly. She requested that staff look into the antique store with respect to the original intent of the original permit. Mr. Iserson noted that he would examine the situation, and added that other people had previously mentioned it to him. Commissioner Roberts noted that she had contacted Code Enforcement regarding the two large signs taped on the outside of McDonald's, and believed that the original permit did not allow such signs. She added that when the restaurant was crowded, parking became a problem, and that only compact spaces in the back of the restaurant were available. Mr. Iserson replied that he would follow up on Commissioner Roberts's request. A discussion of parking in the area ensued. Commissioner Sedlak inquired whether it would be appropriate to have Internet access during the Planning Commission meetings in order to obtain timely answers to questions, such as the Flag Ordinance. - Chairperson Maas personally preferred the current practice, and noted that any unanswered questions could be answered at a later time.
