,-..

Chairperson Maas commented that open fencing requirement that was placed on Mr. Chestnut's
project was important to her. She noted that while the fencing looks very nice the way it is, she
is bothered that projects are conditioned and that applicants are allowed to do whatever they
want. Mr. Iserson commented that Mr. Chestnut went through a process to approve the change
as a modification. He noted that Mr. Swift made the determination to allow the modification
knowing that the Planning Commission would have the opportunity to consider this matter when
the action was reported. Chairperson Maas questioned whether the modification was approved
prior to the construction of the fence. Mr. Iserson advised that this item could be brought to the
Planning Commission if they want to review this action.

Commissioner Roberts noted that The South Livermore Agricultural Land Trust "Get
Acquainted Event" is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12, from 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m., which is
the date of the regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting. She suggested that the
Planning Commission begin a little later than the regular time. Discussion ensued regarding the
potential items for the next meeting. There was consensus to begin the June 12 meeting at
7:30 p.m. Chairperson Maas suggested that the agenda be developed so that the more critical
items be placed later on the agenda to allow for all of the Commissioners to be in attendance
when they are heard.

8.

MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW/ACTION (continued)

a.

Future Planning Calendar

,,--

In response to an inquiry from Commissioner Kameny, Mr. Iserson provided an update
on the most recent communications with Pacific Union Homes.

In response to a question from Commissioner Sullivan, Mr. Iserson advised that there is
no definite date has been scheduled for the Ponderosa/Busch application.
