MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS (Continued)

Commissioner Kameny requested that the Code Enforcement Officer check on a pick-up truck
that is posted "for sale" that is parked in the front yard of a residence on the north side of Crellin
Road, south of Touriga.

Commissioner Sullivan expressed thanks to Tricia Maier for providing the draft of the Green
Building Ordinance. Mr. Iserson noted that this matter is tentatively scheduled for the Planning
Commission in late June or July. Ms. Seto advised that the proposed ordinance is also being sent
to people in the business and building community for comments, and, therefore, the scheduling
will depend on the nature of the comments and how extensive they are.

Commissioner Sullivan inquired as to the scheduling of the C&D Ordinance for the City
Council. Ms. Seto advised that it is her understanding that this item has been put on hold,
because the Deputy City Manager, Nelson Fialho, has been auditing some of the PGS records
and has noted some discrepancy that he has requested be addressed by PGS. She further advised
that the issue concerns C&D matters. She stated that Mr. Fialho feels it is important that this
information be reviewed prior to bringing the proposed ordinance and rate structure forward to
the City Council. She further advised that this may cause a significant delay.

~

PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES

May 22, 2002

Page 11
