<br />Mr. Pavan provided clarification regarding Commissioner Harvey's question related to the <br />,,-- additional sheet rock requirement to provide noise mitigation. <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry from Commissioner Arkin, Ms. Crew advised that standard carpet is <br />used, but that carpet manufacturers are not allowed to manufacture carpet containing toxic <br />materials. <br /> <br />THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED <br /> <br />Commissioner Roberts moved that the conditional use permit findings listed in the staff <br />report be made, and that Case PCUP-34 be approved subject to the conditions of approval <br />listed in Exhibit "B," with an additional condition requesting that the restroom's signage <br />indicate "restroom" and not be gender specific. The <br />proposal would also include karaoke on Wednesday nights and live music on Friday and <br />Saturday nights. Scott Architecture and Planning <br />Application for PUD design review approval to construct a two-story, approximately <br />24,600-square-foot office building on a 1.37-acre site located at 4733 Chabot Drive <br />within the Hacienda Business Park. Zoning for the property is Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) - Industrial/Commercial/Office District. <br /> <br />Assistant Planner Eric Kishi presented the staff report, providing information regarding the site <br />plan, traffic, building design, and materials. He noted a correction on page 5 of the staff report, <br />advising that the roof shingles are simulated slate. He also noted that the proposal includes bike <br />racks and provisions for the installation of electrical chargers. Mr. Kishi reported that the project <br />has been referred to Mr. Cannon and several of his recommended changes have been integrated <br />into the design.
