REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Item 6.b., PUD-80-16-19D & 11M, Providian Bancorp, was continued to the June 13,2001 <br />meeting. <br /> <br />r- <br /> <br />Chairperson Sullivan stated that he has not had time to adequately review the Supplemental EIR <br />for Oak Tree Farm (Item 6.c.). He suggested that the public hearing be held, the staff <br />presentation be made, and the Planning Commission have the opportunity to ask questions, but <br />that action on the item be deferred to the next meeting. The Planning Commission concurred <br />with this suggestion, noting that it may be necessary to continue this item to the next meeting, <br />depending on the time. <br /> <br />5. MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> <br />a. PDR-118, McDonald's Corp. <br />Application for PUD design review approval to construct a new, approximately 5,134- <br />square-foot, fast-food restaurant with drive through and indoor play place, and for a <br />5,220-square-foot commercial building pad on 1.75 acres ofland located at 3001 Bernal <br />A venue in Stanley Business Park. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - C (Commercial) District. The Planning Commission will also consider <br />the negative declaration prepared for the project. <br /> <br />Mr. Pavan presented the staff report providing an overview of the proposal, including aspects <br />related to traffic and circulation, building design, parking, and signage. He noted that the <br />proposal conforms with the requirements and standards ofthe Stanley Business Park <br />development plan. He advised that the design of the commercial building for the open pad area <br />will be brought back to the Planning Commission for design review. He stated that the proposed <br />McDonald's building has been peer-reviewed by Larry Cannon and that items resulting from his <br />review have been incorporated into the design.
