REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA Item 6.b., PUD-80-16-19D & 11M, Providian Bancorp, was continued to the June 13,2001 meeting. r- Chairperson Sullivan stated that he has not had time to adequately review the Supplemental EIR for Oak Tree Farm (Item 6.c.). He suggested that the public hearing be held, the staff presentation be made, and the Planning Commission have the opportunity to ask questions, but that action on the item be deferred to the next meeting. The Planning Commission concurred with this suggestion, noting that it may be necessary to continue this item to the next meeting, depending on the time. 5. MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION a. PDR-118, McDonald's Corp. Application for PUD design review approval to construct a new, approximately 5,134- square-foot, fast-food restaurant with drive through and indoor play place, and for a 5,220-square-foot commercial building pad on 1.75 acres ofland located at 3001 Bernal A venue in Stanley Business Park. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - C (Commercial) District. The Planning Commission will also consider the negative declaration prepared for the project. Mr. Pavan presented the staff report providing an overview of the proposal, including aspects related to traffic and circulation, building design, parking, and signage. He noted that the proposal conforms with the requirements and standards ofthe Stanley Business Park development plan. He advised that the design of the commercial building for the open pad area will be brought back to the Planning Commission for design review. He stated that the proposed McDonald's building has been peer-reviewed by Larry Cannon and that items resulting from his review have been incorporated into the design.
