Councilmember McGovern stated the Council talked about the idea that on the mitigation and <br />monitoring plan, balconies and outdoor patios would not be reduced for air quality control, but <br />she did not see this mentioned. Mr. Fialho noted this is correct; it has been struck from the <br />mitigation plan. <br />Councilmember Cook - Kallio made a motion to approve staff recommendation. Councilmember <br />McGovern asked that changes regarding the moisture level controls for irrigation be a condition <br />of approval. Councilmember Sullivan asked that his comments regarding returning and <br />discussing Bay Friendly and greenhouse gases be included, as well. Councilmember McGovern <br />also requested that PV grants also be sought. <br />MOTION: It was M/S by Cook - Kallio- Thorne to approve staffs recommendation and introduce <br />and waived full reading of the following: <br />Ordinance No. 2007 approving the application of Continuing Life Communities for Planned <br />Unit Development (PUD) Development Plan approval, as filed under Case PUD -68 <br />Ordinance No. 2008 approving the application of Hendrick Automotive Group for Planned <br />Unit Development (PUD) Development Plan approval, as filed under Case PUD -57 <br />Ordinance No. 2009 approving the application of the City of Pleasanton for Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) Development Plan approval, as filed under Case PUD -80 <br />Ordinance No. 2010 approving a Development Agreement as amended between the City of <br />Pleasanton and the Alameda County Surplus Property Authority regarding the Staples Ranch <br />Project <br />Resolution No. 10 -397 approving Various Agreements in connection with the Staples Ranch <br />Project and authorizing the Mayor to sign the following agreements: (1) Purchase and Sale <br />of Real Property Agreement with the Surplus Property Authority of Alameda County; (2) <br />Funding and Improvement Agreement with Surplus Property Authority of Alameda County; <br />Hendrick Automotive Group & Continuing Life Communities for the Staples Ranch <br />Neighborhood Park/Detention Basin; (3) Growth Management Agreement with Continuing <br />Life Communities; (4) Agreement with Continuing Life Communities concerning Independent <br />Living Units; (5) Agreement with County of Alameda regarding the Transfer of Property Tax <br />Revenues for Staples <br />Motion passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Cook - Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />BREAK: Mayor Hosterman called for a brief break, and thereafter, reconvened the regular <br />meeting with all members present. <br />15.
