2. Grand Openings. Temporary signs, banners, pennants, and decorations <br /> shall be allowed subject to the requirements of Section 18.96.060.K of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br /> 3. Noise. Except as otherwise modified by the conditions of approval for this <br /> case, compliance with the City's noise standards shall be achieved. <br /> 4. Airport Protection Area Boundary. Dwelling units shall not be located <br /> east of the Airport Protection Area (APA) line for the Livermore Municipal <br /> Airport adopted by the Alameda County Airport Land Use Commission in <br /> 1993. Prior to the issuance of a building permit, the project developer shall <br /> revise the plans and draw the APA line on the site plan. <br /> 5. Del Valle Dam Evacuation System. Prior to occupancy, the property <br /> owner shall meet with the Fire Marshal, or his or her designee, about the <br /> Del Valle Dam evacuation system, in the event of flooding. The property <br /> owner shall provide information from the Fire Marshal to all future tenants, <br /> on -site managers, and future property owners. <br /> 6. Greenhouse Gas Emissions. <br /> a. A minimum of two energy star appliances and /or systems that meet <br /> Energy Star standards shall be installed in each dwelling unit. The <br /> proposed appliances and /or systems and how they adhere to the <br /> Energy Star standards shall be stated on the plans submitted for the <br /> issuance of a building permit. <br /> b. All units shall be constructed to allow for the future installation of <br /> Photovolatic (PV). The project/building developer shall comply with the <br /> following requirements for making all units photovoltaic- ready. Making <br /> units photovoltaic -ready shall require the following measures to be <br /> implemented with the construction of the structures covered: <br /> • Electrical conduit and cable pull strings shall be installed from <br /> the roof /attic area to the buildings' main electrical panels; <br /> • Roof trusses shall be engineered to handle an additional load <br /> of five (5) pounds per square foot beyond that of the <br /> anticipated load for the roofing material; <br /> • An area shall be provided near the electrical panel for the <br /> installation of an "inverter" required to convert the direct <br /> current output from the photovoltaic panels to alternating <br /> current; and <br /> • These measures shall be shown on the building permit plan <br /> set submitted to the Director of Community Development for <br /> review and approval before issuance of the first building <br /> permit. <br /> Conditions of Approval /PUD -68 <br /> Appendix Conditions 20 <br />
