(i.e. Monet sculpture, chair donor plaque, donor recognition wall), and the installation of
furniture and fixtures for the Arts Center. O'Connor's scope of services was expanded
to include the work on the transportation corridor. Their familiarity with the project and
hands -on management over the last several years has ensured steady and efficient
progress of the project.
Project Budget
The total estimated cost to design and construct the parking lot, plaza and garden area
is approximately $2,467,082 and will be funded as noted in the "Financial Statement"
section. With the transfer of $614,962 from the Firehouse Arts Center contingency to
the Corridor CIP, and taking into account expenditures to date for various changes to
Arts Center project, the proposed adjustments will leave approximately $328,783 in the
this project's contingency budget. Staff believes this amount will adequately cover the
Arts Center project to completion. A detailed expenditure breakdown of all costs for
both projects will be provided upon final acceptance of the project by City Council.
Submitted by: Fiscal Review: Approv by:
ulie Yu n -Miu Emil la gner Nelson Fialho
ssista City Manager Director of Finance City Manager
Attachments:
1.
