Proposal • City of Pleasanton Housing Element Update <br /> Task 11 <br /> Conduct Review of Preliminary Draft Housing Element <br /> The Preliminary Draft Housing Element will be reviewed by through outreach <br /> to the community, and meetings with the Housing Commission, Planning <br /> Commission and the City Council. The Consultant will assist City Staff in <br /> the preparation of display materials as necessary and attend meetings of the <br /> Housing Commission, Planning Commission and City Council review when <br /> they review the Preliminary Draft Housing Element. Based on review and <br /> directions a Draft Housing Element will be prepared for review by HCD. <br /> Task 12 <br /> Prepare Draft Housing Element <br /> The Consultant will incorporate changes based on Planning Commission <br /> and City Council direction and assist Staff in submitting copies of the Draft <br /> Housing Element to HCD for mandatory 60 -day review period. <br /> Task 13 <br /> Respond to Public and HCD Comments <br /> The Consultant will respond HCD and public questions or provide additional <br /> explanation about the Draft Housing Element as needed. In addition, <br /> responses and possible changes to the Draft Housing Element as a result of <br /> HCD and other public comments will be provided and reviewed with Staff <br /> Task 14 <br /> Participate in Public Hearings and Finalize the Adopted <br /> Housing Element <br /> The Consultant will assist Staff in the preparation of Staff reports and other <br /> materials. The Consultant will also assist Staff in the preparation of display <br /> materials as necessary and attend up to (3) public hearings before the Planning <br /> Commission and City Council to adopt the Updated Housing Element. <br /> Changes will be incorporated into a final version of the adopted Housing <br /> Element. The format for the Housing Element will be the compatible with the <br /> adopted City of Pleasanton General Plan or in a format desired by the City. <br /> The Consultant will provide an original and electronic copy. In addition, <br /> the Consultant will provide City Staff with organized files and assist in other <br /> "wrap -up" needs for the project. <br /> Part 2 — Work Tasks 14 <br />
