Proposal • City of Pleasanton Housing Element Update Task 11 Conduct Review of Preliminary Draft Housing Element The Preliminary Draft Housing Element will be reviewed by through outreach to the community, and meetings with the Housing Commission, Planning Commission and the City Council. The Consultant will assist City Staff in the preparation of display materials as necessary and attend meetings of the Housing Commission, Planning Commission and City Council review when they review the Preliminary Draft Housing Element. Based on review and directions a Draft Housing Element will be prepared for review by HCD. Task 12 Prepare Draft Housing Element The Consultant will incorporate changes based on Planning Commission and City Council direction and assist Staff in submitting copies of the Draft Housing Element to HCD for mandatory 60 -day review period. Task 13 Respond to Public and HCD Comments The Consultant will respond HCD and public questions or provide additional explanation about the Draft Housing Element as needed. In addition, responses and possible changes to the Draft Housing Element as a result of HCD and other public comments will be provided and reviewed with Staff Task 14 Participate in Public Hearings and Finalize the Adopted Housing Element The Consultant will assist Staff in the preparation of Staff reports and other materials. The Consultant will also assist Staff in the preparation of display materials as necessary and attend up to (3) public hearings before the Planning Commission and City Council to adopt the Updated Housing Element. Changes will be incorporated into a final version of the adopted Housing Element. The format for the Housing Element will be the compatible with the adopted City of Pleasanton General Plan or in a format desired by the City. The Consultant will provide an original and electronic copy. In addition, the Consultant will provide City Staff with organized files and assist in other "wrap -up" needs for the project.
