Proposal • City of Pleasanton Housing Element Update <br /> a Housing Element Workbook will be prepared for review with staff, Task <br /> Force, and for use at the first two community workshops and for review with <br /> the Housing Commission, Planning Commission and City Council. The <br /> workbook will include background information organized by topics required <br /> to be included in the Housing Element including: Introduction, Housing <br /> Element Requirements, Relationship to Other Elements, Future Trends and <br /> Projections, Special Housing Needs, ABAG Housing Needs Determinations, <br /> Recent Construction Activity and Future Housing Development Potential, <br /> Potential Non - Governmental Housing Constraints, Potential Governmental <br /> Housing Constraints, Energy Conservation Opportunities, 2003 Housing <br /> Element Achievements. In addition, the Housing Element Workbook will <br /> include a menu of options related to housing policies, programs and sites. <br /> Sub -tasks include: <br /> 5.1 Prepare Administrative Draft Housing Element Workbook: Prepare <br /> Administrative Draft Housing Element Workbook original and electronic <br /> version for Staff review and comment. <br /> 5.2 Finalize Housing Element Workbook: Incorporate changes based <br /> on Staff comments and provide original and electronic versions of the <br /> Housing Element Workbook. <br /> Task 6 <br /> Conduct Outreach to Stakeholders <br /> The consultant would assist City staff and would conduct outreach to various <br /> stakeholder groups to obtain expert information from developers and service <br /> providers on housing develop and services needs. Feedback material will be <br /> provided and comments will be documented. The following are sub - tasks: <br /> 6.1 Undertake Pre - Outreach Planning: Pre - meeting planning actions <br /> include: (1) refine the approach and workshop agenda with Staff; (2) <br /> find meeting location, if different from City Hall; (3) coordinate noticing <br /> by City Staff; and (4) prepare handouts and materials. <br /> 8.2 Conduct Two Stakeholder Meetings: Conduct two stakeholder with <br /> the assistance and involvement of City Staff. <br /> 8.3 Prepare Stakeholder Summary Report: Prepare a Summary Report for <br /> review with the Task Force, Housing Commission, Planning Commission <br /> and City Council. <br /> Part 2 —Work Tasks 11 <br />
