We propose to conduct two regularly scheduled monitoring events and submit a monitoring report for each event. As requested, the term of this proposal covers the 5 -year period from 2010 through 2014. We propose to perform the services outlined above for a fee of $2,500 per event for the first two years (2010 and 2011) and $2,600 per event for remaining three years (2012, 2013 and 2014). For the 5 -year period, the fee would be $25,600. Note that ENGEO has been performing site reconnaissance at Laurel Creek Estates since 2001, and the fees for our services have been fixed since 2005. As requested, we will conduct additional inspection events on an as- needed basis as defined by the Plan of Control (e.g. within five days of whenever rainfall exceeds 2 inches in a 24 -hour period as reported by local monitoring stations) for a fixed fee of $1,800 per event, including the summary report. The fees for heavy rainfall events are not included in the fee estimate for scheduled monitoring activities listed above. If you are in agreement with the scope of services and fee, please issue a task authorization letter as our formal authorization to proceed with the above services.
