Banners should be hung straight and not droop. No additional holes or eye hooks are to be inserted <br /> into the Veterans Memorial Building. <br /> Banners to be hung are to only promote VOP events. <br /> While hanging banners, the VOP representative must use safe hanging practices. <br /> It is recommended that when the VOP submits its 18 month meeting and events calendar by <br /> January 15th, the events that will have a banner promoting the event be identified on the calendar. <br /> 7. Maintenance of the Facility. <br /> The City shall provide all ongoing maintenance, including custodial support for the Facility. This <br /> custodial and maintenance support shall be at a level and on a schedule deemed appropriate by the <br /> City. The VOP shall be responsible for maintaining all personal property of the Veterans' <br /> associations. <br /> 8. Facility Set Up. <br /> The City shall be responsible for setting up and removing all furnishings, staging, tables, chairs, <br /> and kitchen utensils for any City- sponsored activity at the Facility. The VOP shall be responsible <br /> for setting up and removing any furnishings, staging, tables, chairs and kitchen utensils for any <br /> VOP- sponsored activity at the Facility, except that the Committee may request City assistance for <br /> special public events through the City Liaison 90 days prior to the special event. City assistance <br /> will be discretionary and dependent upon availability of City resources and personnel to provide <br /> these services. <br /> 9. Utilities. <br /> The City shall provide all utilities to the Facility, including electricity, gas, sewer, water, and cable. <br /> The City shall assume the cost for all utilities except cable, telephone, computer and Internet <br /> services in the Veterans' Rooms, unless services are provided at no cost to the City. Telephone, <br /> computer, and Internet use of equipment in the Facility, but not included in the Veterans' Rooms, <br /> shall be limited to City use. <br /> 10. Access to the Facility. <br /> The City shall provide the VOP a limited number of keys /access cards for the purpose of gaining <br /> entry into the building. The VOP will be responsible for assuring the building is secure upon the <br /> completion of any VOP activity. <br /> 11. Subleasing and Non Assignability. <br /> The VOP shall not assign, sublet, or transfer the Facility access rights included in this Agreement <br /> to any other organization without prior written consent of City, and then only upon such terms and <br /> conditions as the City may set forth in writing.
