Smoking - Smoking is not allowed in <br />buildings or mst rooms. <br /> <br />Cleaning - Groups shall be <br />responsible for the clean-up and <br />condition in which they leave a <br />facility. In cases where property has <br />been damaged or abused beyond <br />normal wear, the lessee will be billed <br />for all damage and additional <br />clean-up. <br /> <br />User Responsibilities - <br /> [Clean up at conclusion of event.] <br /> <br />Set filled garbage containers <br />outside of building in area <br />designated. <br />Pick up all litter and garbage <br />from building, patio porch, <br />etc., and place in containers <br />provided. <br />Clean the kitchen if used - <br />remove all food. <br />Clean tables and chairs used. <br />Tables and chairs to be put <br />away, or if set up provided, <br />left as found. <br />Clean spills from floor or <br />rugs. <br />Flush toilets before you leave. <br />Secure building after use. <br /> <br />Do Not use confetti, glitter, sequins, <br />rice or birdseed in the facilities, on <br />porches, or patios. The cleaning <br />deposit will be used to cover any staff <br />time necessary for clean-up of seed, <br />rice, confeRi, glitter, sequins, etc. <br /> <br />Do Not slide tables across floors. <br /> <br />Do Not stand, sit or lie on tables. <br /> <br />Decorations - <br />Do Not use staples or nails in any <br />facility. Tacks may be used on tack <br />boards only. Masking tape - <br />generally, masking tape may be used <br />on painted surfaces. Exception: no <br />masking tape allowed in Century <br />House. <br /> <br />No vehicles are to be driven or <br />parked on sidewalks, patios or lawns <br />of recreational facilities. Deposit will <br />be forfeited for noncompliance. <br />No advertising shall be exhibited, <br />no petitions circulated, and no <br /> <br />solicitation or sales made in the <br />building or on the grounds withom <br />wriffen permission from the Chief of <br />Police. <br /> <br />No B~nners or Signs shall be <br />placed on the exterior of the facility or <br />on thc facility grounds unless <br />previously approved. All signs must <br />comply with City sign ordinance. <br /> <br />5. Overcrowding is forbidden. <br /> <br />A permit is required for use of <br />candles or other open flame at the <br />Senior Center. Contact the Fire <br />Department for permit <br />applications by calling 454-2307. <br />Candles are prohibited at thc <br />Century House, Veterans Building <br />and Amador Recreation Center. <br /> <br />Groups shall enter and leave the <br />facility at thc ti~e specified on thc <br />permit. <br /> <br />Senior Center: 1) Posting ofany <br />notice, announcement or flyer will be <br />permitled only by pre-approval by the <br />Recreation Supervisor or Senior <br />Supervisor. 2) No display of <br />merchandise, products, projects or <br />materials will be permitted without <br />pre-approval by the Supervisor or <br />Senior Supervisor. <br /> <br />Pleasanton .F. ire Dep. artment <br />Rules for Public Assembly* Uses <br /> <br />1. All exit doors must be operable at <br /> any time the building is occupied, <br /> and no part of any stairway, <br /> hallway, corridor, vestibule, aisle <br /> or exit way may be used in any <br /> <br />7. Smoking is prohibited in all <br /> facilities. <br /> <br />A responsible representative of the <br />using organization must <br />constantly supervise the premises <br />at all times it is occupied. <br /> <br /> Rental Classification <br />[see current Fee Schedule for pricing] <br /> <br />Basic rental fee is for six hours of nsc, <br />which includes set-up, decorating, and <br />clean-up. If the facility is available, <br />time extensions may be requested up <br />to 14 days before booking; subject to <br />the hourly fee. Time extended <br />without prearrangement will incur the <br />hourly rental cost, plus $20 per hour <br />for staff. An additional fee is required <br />for use of the kitchen at the Veterans' <br />Memorial Building and the Pleasanton <br /> <br />way that obstructs its intended use Senior Center. The kitchens at the <br /> <br />az an exit, or presents a hazardous <br />condition. <br /> <br />2. All decorative materials must be <br /> either made of noncombustible <br /> substances, or treated with State <br /> approved flame-retardant <br /> solutions or processes. A <br /> certificate of flame retardance will <br /> be required. <br /> <br />3. No decorative material or <br /> decoration may conceal or <br /> otherwise obstruct any exit light, <br /> fire alarm, hose cabinet, fire <br /> extinguisher or other flra <br /> protection device or system. <br /> <br />4. A plan showing the table/sesting <br /> locations, exit ways and aisles <br /> must be submiRed and approved <br /> bythe City if such plan is <br /> different from the location of City <br /> set-ups. <br /> <br />Amador Recreation Center and <br />Century House are available for <br />catered affairs at no additional charge. <br /> <br /> Priority Classifications <br /> <br />_A. Co-Sponsored Groups - All <br /> co-sponsored groups are designeted <br /> by meeting the reeuirements <br /> included in the Policy for a <br /> Recreation Group Sponsorship <br /> Classificetion. To be considered <br /> Sponsored, an organization file <br /> must be complete. <br /> <br />Co-sponsored Senior- <br />Reserved for community <br />groups whose program serves a <br />sin~ificant number of seniors, <br />providing a wholesome and <br />desirable educational or leisure <br />activity and is considered of <br />service to the community. <br /> <br />P~e3 <br /> <br /> <br />
