Decorations on Stage: Decorations <br />may not be attached to any stage wail <br />or ceiling. <br /> <br />Directions to Caterers, <br />Musicians, Etc.: it is your <br />responsibility to inform your caterers, <br />musicians, etc. of your hours of use. <br />Please note that the hours of use <br />requested must include the hours your <br />caterer, musicians, etc. require. Staff <br />will be essigned to open and service <br />your event for contracted hours only. <br />Any changes to your contracted hours <br />must be made at least 14 days prior to <br />event. <br /> <br />Dee. orations: The use of tape of <br />any kind is prohibited. Tacks or push <br />pins are permitted on the designated <br />tack boards in the main hall only. <br />The Senior Center does not provide <br />ladders for your use. Any decoration, <br />display or ladder used by your party <br />needs to have rubber feet or some <br />protection for the floor. We do not <br />provide staplers, tape, scissors, etc. <br />Should lessee wish to provide large <br />plants or decorations, detailed <br />information should be provided as to <br />how the plants will be moved in and <br />how the floor will be protected. <br /> <br />Use of Hand Carts: Lesseeswho <br />wish to move heavy objects (such as <br />speakers for D.J.'s, plants, cases of <br />food, etc.) into the facility by cart or <br />hand cart, etc. must be aware that only <br />equipment with large, clean rubber <br />wheels, with all projecting edges <br />protected, should be used. Lessees <br />will be charged for any damage to the <br />floor, stairs or walls. <br /> <br />Kitchen Monitor: Those lessees <br />who book the kitchen will have the <br />services of a monitor available. The <br />monite~s responsibilities iocludc <br />providing your helpers information <br />and direction regarding the kitchen, <br />and equipment and use of the area in <br />general, check out dishes and <br />equipment arranged for and monitor <br />its return. The monitor will not serve <br />your event or complete work tasks <br />such es doing dishes or cleaning the <br />steam trays. The monitor will only be <br />able to provide access to equipment or <br />supplies arranged for in your contract. <br /> <br />The monitor will provide access to <br />cleaning tools and provide <br />information as to your cleaning <br />responsibilities at the conclusion of <br />your event. <br /> <br />Kitchen Supplies: Lessees who <br />have made arrangements for use of the <br />kitchen will be provided a number of <br />clean cloth kitchen towels. The <br />kitchen monitorwill check the towels <br />out to you and check them in at the <br />conclusion of the booking. Lessee <br />will be charged $5.00 for towels lost. <br />Chemicals for the dishwasher and <br />dishwashing will be provided. <br /> <br />Telephone Use: Public pay <br />telephones are available in the back <br />lobby. City telephones are not <br />available for incoming or outgoing <br />telephone calls for private use except <br />Jn an emergency. Monitors will not <br />accept incoming calls for lessee. <br /> <br />Supervision of Children: We <br />recognize that many event~ will have <br />children in aRendance. We expect <br />children to be supervised ail times. <br />Should the monitors find children are <br />not being supervised, lessee will be <br />contacted and requested to provide <br />supervision to children. <br /> <br />Use of Coffee Urn: Lessees who <br />make arrangements for use of the <br />coffee urn must be responsible for <br />supplying tfieir own coffee and <br />servicing the urn. The City will <br />provide the coffee filter. (Coffee urn <br />requires 3 cups ofregnlar coffee per <br />$0 cups.) <br /> <br />Additional Charge~: Any charges <br />for damages to the facility or <br />furnishings or additional use hours <br />will be deducted from the cleaning <br />and damagc dcposic Should use <br />hours extend beyond those on the <br />contract, all stafftime will be <br />calculated as overtime (1.5 times <br />regular rate). The items will be <br />itemized for lessee review. Hours <br />extending beyond I a.m. will incur a <br />charge of $100 for every 15 minutes. <br /> <br />Outside Ceremonies: <br />Arrangemants may be made for <br />outside ceremonies in the park on an <br /> <br />individual basis. Lessee may not <br />expect exclusive use of the park, while <br />specific areas may be approved for a <br />particular use. The additional cost for <br />use of the park for ceremonies is <br />$100. The enclosed ou~ide large <br />patio is considered part of the facility <br />and, as such, is reserved for you with <br />your use. Leesees who wish to use the <br />park for a ceremony must provide <br />their own seating. Chairs provided for <br />main hall seating are not allowed to be <br />moved outside. Any proposed use <br />that has the potential to damage the <br />park will be denied. <br /> <br />Parking: The parking lot holds 240 <br />vehicles. The City Paratransit <br />Vehicles occupy approximately I 0 <br />spaces; 230 spaces are available for <br />lessee use. Should a lessee anticipate <br />their event will generate more <br />vehicles than the parking lot will hold, <br />the lessee must submit a plan <br />identifying how they will address the <br />parking shortfall. The parking lot of <br />the shopping center is not considered <br />available overflow parking unless the <br />lessee has received, in writing, <br />permission from the shopping center <br />to use their parking lot. <br /> <br />Loading/Unloading: The front <br />entrance may not be used for loading <br />and unloading for events in the main <br />hall. The loading dock on the south <br />side of building by the kitchen is <br />available for loadiag and unloading. <br />Deliveries for your event should be <br />instructed to use the loading dock. <br /> <br />Storage: Storage is not available <br />before your event or after your <br />event for supplies, furniture, food, <br />portable bars, speakers nnd D.I. <br />equipment, etc. The Senior Center <br />cannot accept donations of food, <br />supplies, etc. from your event. It is <br />expected that all activities associated <br />with your use will take place within <br />your use hours and the facility will be <br />vacated completely at the conclusion <br />of your use. Additional charges will <br />be levied for storage or for stafftime <br />required to release stored items. Staff <br />time will be calculated at overtime <br /> <br />P~e7 <br /> <br /> <br />
