Picnic Areas <br /> <br />No Alcoholic Beverages Allowed <br />in Picnic Area4! <br /> <br />Amador Community <br /> Park <br />4455 Black Avenue, behind the <br />Pleasanton Aquatic Center. <br /> <br />Capacity: 200 <br /> <br />Availability: Dawn to Dusk <br /> <br />The facility has 20 picnic tables, <br />individual and group barbecues, and is <br />adjacent to a children's play area, <br />restrooms, field area with backshop, <br />horseshoe pits, and flat turf area. The <br />softball field is not reservable and is <br />available on a flint-come, first-served <br />basis. Your reservation will be <br />limited to the number of tables needed <br />for your group. <br /> <br />Pleasanton Sports and <br />Recreatiofi Park <br /> <br />5800 Parkside Drive <br /> <br />Capacity: 200 <br /> <br />Availability: Dawn to Dusk <br /> <br />Located next to the adult softball <br />complex, the facility has 20 picnic <br />tables, individual and group <br />barbecues, is adjacent to a youth play <br />area, restrooms and sports fields. Your reservation <br />will be limited to the number of tables <br />needed for your group. <br /> <br /> Aquatic Center <br />4455 Black Avenue (Amador Park) <br /> <br />Capacity: 1,000 <br /> <br />Availability: Mamh thru September <br />Group Booking: During sebeduled <br />recreation swim hours. <br /> <br />Description: 4 pools: 60' w x 75' 1 x <br />2 1/2'-3 1/2' d; 60' w x 25 m x 3 1/2'-5 <br />1/2 ' d; 40' w x 60' I x 6'-IY d; 75' w x <br />50mix4'-2 md. <br /> <br />General Rules/Policies <br />Pleasanton Semor <br />Center <br /> <br />Building Walk-Through: Lessee <br />is required to complete a <br />walk-through to check the condition <br />of the facility with the Facility <br />Attendant prior to event and again at <br />event conclusion. Plan to arrive 15 <br />minutes prior to your event's <br />contracted hours of use. Should the <br />lessee not be available to complete <br />these tasks, please assign a <br />responsible party and notify our <br />office, in writing, of the name of the <br />individual you are authorizing to act <br />on your behalfi <br /> <br />Building Attendant: The Facility <br />Attendant will open and close the <br />building for your booking. The <br />building attendant will not rearrange <br />the room, or move tables and chairs, <br />etc. The attendant will provide <br />general information and direction <br />regarding the facility. Should any use <br />problems arise during your booking, <br />the attendant will assist in addressing <br />the problem. The attendant will not <br />be responsible for your guests or <br />ehildran of your guests. Should <br />members of your party not comply <br />with building rules, the attendant will <br />seek you out and request you to <br />address the problem. <br /> <br />Designated Representative: <br />Lessee is requested to identify two (2) <br />representatives whom they have <br />authorized to make decisions on their <br />behalf on the day of the booking. The <br />lessee may not be available to respond <br />to questions or address event <br />problems at all times and the attendant <br />must have a responsible individual(s) <br />to work with. The responsible <br />authorized individual(s) should be <br />identified to the attendant(s) at the <br />beginning of the event. <br /> <br />Bar: If the lessee wishes to set up a <br />bar, the area directly in front of the <br />small sink at the back of the room is <br />the only acceptable location inside the <br />building. Kegs are not allowed in the <br />facility. Should a lessee wish to <br />provide beverage from kegs, the keg <br />will have to be located on the south <br /> <br />patio. If containers are provided for <br />ice, the container must not leak and <br />the floor must be protected. Metal <br />containers (buckets, tubs, etc.) are not <br />allowed. <br /> <br />Restrictions Regarding Where <br />Food and Drink Can be Served <br />or Consumed: Food and drink are <br />allowed in the main hall of the <br />building only. Lessees arc expected to <br />use whatever controls are required to <br />assure food or drink is not taken to <br />other areas of the building. Food or <br />drink is allowed on the outside patios. <br /> <br />Facility Use/Limitations of Use: <br />Lessees have access to the main hall, <br />the entries, rest rooms, kitchen (if <br />leased) and patio areas. Lessees do <br />not have access to any other area of <br />the building unless special <br />arrangements have been made. <br /> <br />Park Use: Lessees have access to <br />the community park surrounding the <br />facility, but do not have exclusive use. <br />Lessees may use activity areas: <br />horseshoe courts (4), bocce ball courts <br />(2), shuffleboard courts (3), but must <br />provide their own equipment. <br /> <br />Room Set Up: The main hall set up <br />has limitations due to desired number <br />of tables and chairs, fire exiting <br />requirements, and placement of food <br />and beverage service. Those wishing <br />to provide guidance regarding how <br />they would like the room arranged <br />may provide a diagram. The diagram <br />should be submitted seven days prior <br />to use. Ifa diagram is not submitted, <br />staffwill arrange the room as they <br />believe best for your event. Lessees <br />must realize that the size of the room <br />is limited; the larger the group, the <br />more difficult to be creative with table <br />arrangements. <br /> <br />Stage: The stage and basic sound <br />system are available for events. <br /> <br />Piano: The piano is not considered <br />available unless special arrangements <br />have been made and an additional fee <br />paid. Should a lessee desire special <br />services to the piano (tuning, etc.), the <br />service will be provided if the lessee <br />agrees to assume the cost. <br /> <br />Page 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
