§2- 15.01.53. STATE shall mean the State of California. §2- 15.01.54. STORM DRAINS shall mean those pipes, canals, and conduits provided to carry storm and surface waters and unpolluted wastewater. §2- 15.01.55. STORM WATER shall mean water derived from a rainfall or resulting therefrom. §2- 15.01.56. SUSPENDED SOLIDS (SS) shall mean the measure of solids that float or are in suspension in a sample of Sewage which are removable by filtration, as determined by the method of testing for SS pursuant to the Standard Methods. §2- 15.01.57. TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLIDS (TDS) shall mean the measure of all solids that are colloidal or in solution in a sample of Sewage that are not removable by filtration, but which remain after evaporation, as deter- mined by the method of testing for TDS pursuant to the Standard Methods. §2- 15.01.58. TREATMENT PLANT or TREATMENT WORKS shall mean the District wastewater treatment facilities defined by the District as "Treatment Works." §2- 15.01.59. TRUNK LINE or TRUNK SEWER shall mean a main Sewer line to which two (2) or more Service Laterals are connected and which serves the primary purpose of trans- porting Sewage from Service Laterals to the Treatment Plant. §2- 15.01.60. UNCOMMITTED CAPACITY shall mean the total Capacity to which the City is entitled, less the sum of the following: (1) that Capacity being used, or which may be permitted to be used, by Existing Users, (ii) that Capacity committed under connection permits outstanding but not connected to the Sewerage System, and (iii) that Capacity committed to future use by agreements, reserva- tions, or other specific purposes, as determined by the City, remaining to be reserved in such agreements, reserva- tions, or other specific purposes. §2- 15.01.61. USER shall mean a person who uses the Sewerage System by discharging Sewage or Industrial Wastes therein. §2- 15.01.62.
