§2- 15.01.44. SCHOOL shall mean any public or <br />private institution of learning which discharges into the <br />City's Sewerage System primarily Sanitary Sewage. <br />§2- 15.01.45. SERVICE LATERAL shall mean the pipe <br />between the Trunk Line and the User's Side Sewer connection <br />at the edge of the street or easement_ <br />§2- 15.01.46. SEWAGE shall mean water carrying <br />wastes from residences, business buildings, institutions, <br />and industrial establishments, together with such other <br />waters as may be present, or any combination of such wastes <br />and waters, but excluding unpolluted water. <br />§2- 15.01.47_ SEWER shall mean a pipe or conduit <br />for carrying Sewage. <br />§2- 15.01.48_ SEWERAGE SYSTEM shall mean all Sewers <br />and facilities operated for carrying, collecting, pumping, <br />treating, and disposing of sewage. <br />§2 15.01.49_ SHALL; MAY: The term shall shall be <br />mandatory; the term may shall be permissive. <br />§2- 15.01.50. SIDE SEWER shall mean a pipe connect- <br />ing to a Service Lateral from a house or other structure. <br />§2- 15.01.51. SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING shall mean any <br />residential unit designed to house one (1) family and not <br />herein defined as a multiple family dwelling, including <br />without limitation a single- family detached residence, a <br />condominium, a townhouse, a duplex, and a mobile home not in <br />a mobile home park. <br />§2- 15.01.52. STANDARD METHODS of testing shall <br />mean the measurements, tests and analyses of the charac- <br />teristics of water and wastes as determined in accordance <br />with the most recent edition of the Standard Methods for the <br />Examination of Water and Waste Water, published jointly by <br />the American Public Health Association, the American Water <br />Works Association and the Water Pollution Control Federa- <br />tion_ I£ such testing standards are not provided in the <br />Standard Methods, the procedures contained in Title 40, Code <br />of Federal Regulations, Part 136, as amended, shall apply. <br />In the event specific value limits have been established, <br />such values shall be determined from twenty-four (24) hour <br />composite samples that are representative of the waste. <br />However, if intermittent discharges are made that are not <br />representative of the twenty -four (24) hour discharge, <br />sampling requirements shall be determined on a case -by -case <br />basis. <br />6. <br />ec <br />AZ3-2-0- <br />
