<br />The Town Council of the Town of Pleasanton was called to order a 7:30
<br />P.M. on the above written date with Mayor Thomas Orloff presiding. Present
<br />at roll call were Councilmen Madsen, Rivolta, Olesen,.Amaral and Orloff.-
<br />The minutes of the meetings September 4th and 11th were read. Council-
<br />man Madsen took exception -to the sentence read: "He'also advised that in order
<br />to put in this special meter that a year's contract would have to be signed
<br />by the municipality and that same would be $36a00 per year with the accumulative
<br />rate feature or a minimum of 43.00 per month." The Clerk promised to check
<br />with.Mr. Saunders on the matter and to make the correction if same was in
<br />error. (Mr. Saunders advised that it would be necessary for the municipality
<br />to sign the contract if the accumulative feature was to be taken-advantage of
<br />otherwise the minimum rate to be X3.00 per month.)

<br />These claims were referred to the finance committee for audit and retort.
<br />The Clerk then read the following reports of the municipal - officers:
<br />Water Department: -- Showing that water had been turned on at'4 places and off
<br />at six places. Put in new 'meter for Mrs,. Lambert, repaired two meters, removed
<br />gas heater at Sewer farm, installed' electric heater at Sewer Farm, and rewired
<br />McKinley Park Lighting System. The report showed that there were 414 taps
<br />in town and 37 outside of town. That there were 482 services in town (On 427,
<br />Off 55) and 45 services ob.tside of Town (On 43, Off 2); total number of services
<br />527. The report showed the expenses of the department as $388.33, and the income
<br />$978.90, leaving a total over and above expenses of $5}90.57. The report showed
<br />that the total gallons water Pumped at Pump #1 was 6,704,900 gallons, and 50,000
<br />gallons pumped at Pump No. 2. Total hours pumping at Pump No. 1 was 2022 hours
<br />and 24 hours at Pump No. 2. Report showed that four water deposits had been
<br />collected and three deposits had been returned.
